Lisa Stevenson



My health and wellness journey started around 10 years ago. I have always struggled with my mental health and I began to look at what I could do to help me manage it and make me feel better. My passion for mental health began and I joined XCITE to see if it would help. It was the best thing I ever done! After a year or two of working on myself I then became qualified as an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2015 to learn more about mindset and how I can help others develop a more positive one and create new healthier habits. I’ve previously worked with children in schools which I loved but health and wellness was still very much a passion of mine. So here I am qualified in Level 2 gym instructing and Level 3 personal training. 


I am passionate about heath and well-being, not just fitness. Personal training isn’t just about losing weight or building muscle, it’s about increasing how much you move and get you feeling good about yourself. I want you to enjoy your sessions, not see it as a chore. You should feel safe, not judged and comfortable with what you are doing. I don’t tell you what to do, we work together and create a plan that is best for you and your individual needs.  


I absolutely love my job, I love seeing others build confidence and feel better mentally. Weight loss and improving strength is an added bonus. Depending on your goal and individual needs will depend on what we do in the gym. I also support you outside our sessions if it’s needed, for example, help with a gym plan, home workout or mobility work.
