All payments are required at the time of booking a pay-per-visit activity or purchasing a membership. Failure to make payment will result in the automatic cancellation of the booking or membership.
Pay-per-visit booking payments are non-refundable once a booking is made and payment is received. Pay-per-visit cannot transfer bookings.
Xcite Membership, on date of joining, carries a 10-day money-back guarantee. After the 10 day, period membership payments are non-refundable. The 10 day period is counted from the joining date.
Xcite Fitness Class/Gym Class/Sports/Kids Activities Bookings
You can book 7 days in advance using our free WLL Xcite App. Simply log into your Xcite account using your PIN and ID. You can also manage your class bookings, allowing you to re-book or cancel your fitness class. You can book online up to 30 minutes before a class starts. You can cancel an Xcite Class online 1 hour prior to the class starting.
Please note Kids Holiday Programme advance booking dates may vary - please see our Holiday programme for more info. You will need to log in under your child's PIN and ID to make a booking for kids activities.
You can book 5 days in advance at Reception. Why not ask for your online PIN and ID next time you visit so you can enjoy the benefits of using WLL Xcite App. You can cancel your class at reception prior to the Xcite class starting.
Xcite Check-in kiosk
You’ll be able to book on the day of your class at Xcite Venues at kiosk stations - available Xcite Bathgate, Craigswood, Linlithgow and Whitburn.
Cancellations can be made online up to 2 hours before the start time of an Xcite class. You will be able to cancel your activity under the booking 'b' section of the WLL Xcite App. After this time you will need to contact the Xcite Venue directly to cancel the class before the start time. You cannot cancel by email or via our social media channels, only via your online account or contacting Reception directly.
Please note a No Show £2.00 penalty fee will occur on your account if you do not attend a booked class which you booked and have not cancelled.
Why we have a No Show £2.00 penalty fee?
To help discourage non-attendance without cancellation we have a no show penalty fee of £2.00 per class to Xcite members policy. If you book a class and do not attend without cancelling your booking a £2.00 charge will occur on your membership account. You'll receive an email notifying you of the fee and instructions on how to pay. Until the fee is paid you will lose your membership entitlement and will be charged for activities you attend until the no show £2.00 penalty fee is paid. The penalty fee can be paid online or at any Xcite Venue. This fee will only be applied to monthly and annual paying members.
To avoid obtaining a penalty fee please cancel any class bookings please make sure you cancel in advance and within the stated time limits.
This rule also applies to kids activities.
A waiting list will run for all full Xcite classes. Any available spaces arising, due to cancellation, will be emailed to the whole waiting list giving those on the list the opportunity to book the class. Our system will automatically check once a day for cancelled class spaces and email to the waiting list. Please make sure you have 'opt-in' on your account preferences to receive these emails.
Arriving for your class
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your class. It is your responsibility to check-in your (or your child's) attendance at reception or kiosk and retain your receipt. Hand your receipt to your instructor on arriving at your class. Please do not turn up to a class without a receipt as this will result in non-admittance to the class.
