Freelance Graphic Designer
3 days per week (Wed-Fri) – could be more if required.
Initially a 2 month contract with possibility to extend.
We are a fast paced creative and innovative marketing department promoting an exciting range of services and activities online and in print across a large demographic. No two days are the same!
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join the team.
In this hands on role you'll provide day-to-day production of marketing materials and design across all areas of the organisation for online, inhouse and external print.
The Role:
- Design for all platforms of marketing:
- Digital – social media, imagery for the web, plasma screens.
- Print – fliers, timetables, templates, posters and banners.
- Adverts – press and billboards.
- Business Documents and Admin.
- Infographics.
- Work with the team to help create marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with Digital Assistant to keep consistency throughout online and print projects.
- A sound understanding of branding.
- Edit existing design files.
- Ensure correct application of brand guidelines is applied.
- Ensure copy within marketing material content is accurate and correct.
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels for print and re-ordering.
About you:
- Passionate about visual design and producing quality work.
- Can produce creative artwork from initial brief through to final delivery of outputs.
- A team player.
- Work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
- Have a keen interest in and are up-to-date with the latest developments and trends for design and digital artwork production.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and experience in photography and video equipment/editing is desirable but not essential.
This freelance position will be in-house only at our office in Bathgate, West Lothian. Only apply if you can work on-site.

Required experience:
- Educated to HND level or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a similar role for 2 years.
- Fully experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud specifically with InDesign.
