More than 200 children celebrated a very colourful end to the Easter holidays at the first ever Xcite Kids Colour Run.
Participants were encouraged to dance, walk or run around the course at Xcite Bathgate, with slip & slides, cargo net crawls and inflatable obstacles to tackle along the way. A team of Xcite volunteers were also on hand to cover participants with colourful powder paint as they worked their way around the course.
Xcite’s Children’s Activity Co-Ordinator Lorraine Pollock commented:
“This was the first time we have organised an event of this kind and we were absolutely thrilled by the turnout. Events like these bring the community together and create amazing memories for the children, it was such a vibrant afternoon filled with fun, colour and a lot of laughter.
I want to say a huge thank you to all of the Xcite volunteers who made the day possible and thanks of course to the community who signed up in droves helping the event to sell out so quickly. The demand for tickets was incredible and we are already planning our next event – watch this space, Xcite Colour Run will be back.”
