In 2018, when life threw me some challenges, I decided to qualify in the one thing I love and became a Gym Instructor. Having always wanted to do my Level 3 in Personal Training, but struggling for time with a fulltime job and my 12-year-old daughter and her training commitments (she is into ski-racing and Olympic lifting), the 2020 Lockdown was my time to finally get started on that!  

Since then, I have been training numerous clients and love to surprise them with what their body can actually do, which is great for their confidence, and helping them create a new healthy lifestyle that is sustainable. Setting foot into the gym for the first time can be a daunting experience, but together we will make you feel confident in using every piece of equipment in our extensive gym. 

Another way you can get to know me is during gym based classes in Xcite Linlithgow, where I am putting a group of people through a high intensity workout with bodyweight and functional exercises. You can come along to one of those too! It is a great way to challenge yourself in a supportive, encouraging class environment.  

This journey has taken me to being asked to become the Lead Trainer and Assessor for Scotland with a reputable fitness education company in the UK, where I help Gym Instructors and Personal Trainers complete their qualification and additional fitness related qualifications. It is great to help like minded people on their way in a new career!
