Polkemmet is a parkland course opened in 1981 and is surrounded by mature woodland, with the River Almond meandering through a number of holes. Reception is located within the Visitor Centre which also houses the Owl Centre. 

The Course is a Scottish Golf Union affiliated course, measuring 3253 yards for men, and 2412 yards for ladies, with two Par 5s and one Par 3. It is designed to welcome all from beginners and juniors to providing a stern challenge for the experienced golfer.

The 15 Bay Floodlit Covered Driving Range, with various target greens and yardage markers, is ideal for practising as well as offering a fun pastime to those that are new to the sport.
