Group Fitness Booking Window Change

Last week, we upgraded our booking platform to GoBook, introducing a new login process and updated booking windows for group fitness classes. These changes were designed to enhance both your current and future experience with us. 

However, after going live and reviewing customer feedback, we recognise that the change to class booking windows hasn’t worked as well as intended and has impacted your experience. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. 

We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable. It was clear the previous booking window worked better for you, and our team has been working hard over the past few days to find a solution that allows us to revert back. 

 

What’s changing? 

We’re pleased to confirm that we’ve found a solution and are in the process of deploying a fix.

Within the next 48 hours, the system will return to the previous booking window: 

  • All group fitness classes will once again be released at 9pm 
  • Adult ‘plus’ members will continue to have 8-day advance booking 
  • All other membership types will continue to have 7-day advance booking 

The overall upgrade to GoBook remains in place, as it provides improved functionality and supports future development. The update above relates only to the class booking window, which is returning to the previous approach following customer feedback.

 

Do I need to do anything? 

No - the update will apply automatically. It may take up to 48 hours to fully revert, but you can continue to use the Xcite app as normal in the meantime.
