Deans Community High School Pool Reopens Saturday 29th
We are pleased to confirm that the swimming pool at Deans Community High School has now reopened after essential emergency maintenance works were completed earlier this week.
We would like to thank all customers for their patience and understanding during the temporary closure.
Swimming Lessons Resuming
Learn to Swim lessons will resume at Deans from Saturday 29th November, and we look forward to welcoming our pupils back to the venue.
Further Repair Still Required
While the pool is safe to reopen, the more complex repair required for the movable pool floor is still outstanding. This work will need to be completed at a later date. Although a confirmed timeline is not yet available, we are working closely with West Lothian Council and our Facilities Management partners to plan the next steps.
We appreciate how disruptive late-notice changes can be. As the timings for any closures are determined by the Facilities Management company, we do not control the notice period we receive, but we will continue to share further updates as soon as we have them.
We want to reassure customers that safety and the long-term reliability of the facility remain our highest priorities.
