The movable pool floor at Deans High School has been out of use for some time due to a mechanical fault. We’ve been working closely with our partners at West Lothian Council and specialist maintenance contractors to arrange the necessary repairs.
Due to additional issues identified during ongoing repair works, the swimming pool at Deans Community High School will now remain closed until Monday 27 April.
While carrying out the scheduled maintenance, specialist divers identified further damage beneath the boom wall. As this area is critical to the safe operation of the pool, these repairs will be carried out immediately.
See below for the most up-to-date relocation arrangements which will remain in place until Monday 27th April when we hope to reopen.

Unfortunately, due to instructor availability, Monday's Aquafit classes will be cancelled on:

During the closure period, the Tuesday Aquafit classes will temporarily relocate to West Calder High School. These classes will take place at the slightly later time of 09:00–09:45 on the following dates:

The Wednesday Aquazumba classes will change to Aquafit, and will temporarily relocate to West Calder High School. These classes will take place at the slightly later time of 09:00–09:45 on the following dates:

All lessons that currently take place on a Tuesday will relocate to Xcite Bathgate for the duration of the closure. Lesson day, times and teachers will remain the same.
