As you may be aware, we are currently awaiting a date for further maintenance works at Deans Community High School swimming pool. Both the Facilities Management team and Xcite have been closely monitoring the condition of the pool, and following an assessment this morning (Wed 26th November), the pool is currently closed with immediate effect.
Learn to Swim lessons for today (Wed 26th Nov) will be relocated as follows:
Morning lessons (up to 2pm): Xcite Bathgate
Evening lessons (from 3.30pm): Xcite Winchburgh Sport & Wellbeing Hub
At this stage, we are unsure when the pool will reopen. Maintenance divers are currently on site, and we expect to have a further update later today. We will communicate directly with any customers whose bookings may be affected over the remainder of this week.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by this unexpected closure. While many of the maintenance issues are outwith our control, we fully appreciate the significant disruption experienced over recent weeks. Please be assured that we will keep you informed of all developments and will continue to do everything possible to minimise further disruption.
