– Sport Development Officer, Head Office
I have been with the company for several years, and during this time, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work alongside many members of staff.
I started my journey as a Casual Lifeguard and worked my way up to Duty Manager at Xcite Bathgate before moving into my current role at Head Office. Over the years, I’ve built strong friendships and trust with colleagues, which has allowed me to provide support whenever needed.
I am passionate about creating a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where staff feel comfortable speaking openly and reach out if they need support.
Most recently, I have also completed my Suicide First Aid training with S.M.I.L.E., which has further strengthened my ability to support both staff and the wider community.
– Duty Manager, Xcite Whitburn
Hi, my name is Richard, I bring over two decades of experience in the leisure industry, with a strong foundation in lifeguarding, gym instruction, and personal training. My career has been defined by a commitment to safety, health, and empowering others, having saved lives as a lifeguard and supported countless individuals in achieving their fitness and wellbeing goals.
I am currently serving as a Duty Manager from Xcite in Whitburn where I am known for my calm and friendly leadership style, reliability, and ability to foster a positive and inclusive environment. My deep understanding of physical and mental wellbeing, shaped by both professional and personal experiences, makes me a compassionate and effective advocate for staff and community wellness.
– Duty Supervisor, Xcite Craigswood
Hi, I’m Caroline, Duty Supervisor at Xcite Craigswood. I’ve been with Xcite for many years in various roles, and I’ve also experienced some big life changes, becoming a mum, studying at university, and buying a house, so I understand the pressures of juggling work and life.
I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and looking out for one another. At Xcite, we’re committed to a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking up.
Whether it’s something small or more serious, you can always come and chat with me. I’m a good listener and will do my best to help, so let’s continue building each other up and making Xcite a place where everyone feels valued and supported.
– Duty Manager, Xcite Linlithgow
I’m John, Duty Manager looking after health and fitness at Xcite Linlithgow. Having worked as a Gym Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and later in schools supporting children’s health, I’ve gained experience across all ages and areas of wellbeing.
With qualifications in Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health for Sport and Physical Activity, I’m passionate about supporting both staff and members.
I want colleagues to feel comfortable coming to me, knowing I’ll listen and help them find the right support for their wellbeing.
