In these terms and conditions, the term ‘referring member’ applies to a current Xcite member who meets the criteria for referring a friend. The term ‘referred member’ applies to a new Xcite member.
Current member will receive a free month if their referred member maintains a full, paid membership for a minimum of 3 full monthly payments.
The free month will be applied to the referring member’s account 4-5 months following their referred member joining, providing both members have maintained a full, paid membership for at least 3 full months.
If the current member is a joint member and refers a joint membership to join, they will receive a full month for free. If they refer a single member, the reward month will be 50% of their normal joint monthly payment.
Current member must complete the Member referral submission on the Xcite App to take advantage of this offer, prior to the referred member joining.
Annual members who refer a new customer will have their membership expiry date extended accordingly, provided the referred member maintains a full, paid membership for 3 full monthly payments. The Annual member must still have a valid membership at this time.
If the referred member has been an Xcite member within the last 3 months, they will not be eligible for the refer a friend offer, and the free month cannot be honoured.
If the referred member has any outstanding payments on a previous membership account, they will not be eligible for the refer a friend offer. Any outstanding balances must be cleared in order to meet the refer a friend criteria for both parties.
The Referring member’s account must not have any outstanding payments and have a valid, current Direct Debit (or annual membership) during the period from the time of their referral until their reward month.
The Refer a Friend offer cannot be backdated.
If the referred member does not enter the promotion code at the time of joining, the referring member will not benefit from the free month.
The referred member will benefit from no joining fee when signing up with the unique joining code.
The Refer a friend offer is non-transferable and no monetary equivalent will be given.
The Refer a friend offer may be used in conjunction with other membership promotions. Please check the Terms and Conditions of any promotion before applying.
Offer applies to Adult membership packages only for both parties.
A referred member’s unique joining code will only be valid until the end of the calendar month.
Where a referred individual receives multiple referral invitations within the same month from different referring members. The free month will be awarded to the referring member whose details were completed first by the referred member.
