There are new Les Mills workout routines for you to try with new music starting this week @ all Xcite Venues from Body Pump to SPRINT! Many of our other class routines have also been updated to keep your workouts fresh so you are always challenging yourself.

Track your fitness progress, save your workouts and monitor your fitness goals! You can be active at home, at work, in the gym, in the pool, in the garden, or playing with the kid. With the ‘My Xcite’ app you can measure ALL of your daily activity! This new, free app records all your workouts at Xcite gyms, automatically updating with your Technogym Key system data (your own key with specific gym programme and result details), and you can add in other indoor and outdoor activities as you go, including housework and mowing the lawn!

Measured by ‘MOVES’ the scores are independent of body weight so they are a more effective way of comparing your activity levels to those of your friends. Via the app you can access your activity data, see your results and review your progress. My Xcite also links to Fitbit, Strava, Mapmyrun, Garmin, Myfitnesspal, Polar, Swimtag and more health apps allowing you to access all your lifestyle data in the one place, especially if you like to crunch the numbers!

Gym - Getting Started

Going to the gym for the first time can be daunting. There really is no need to worry or be nervous. The Xcite Team are here to welcome you and take you through steps to get you started, whatever your fitness level or experience.

Before you can use any of our Gyms you will be required to complete an induction - Xcite Welcome!

Xcite Welcome

This is your 1st appointment at the Gym. Your Gym Instructor will take you through a 30mins 1-2-1 session to get you started in the gym confidently. You'll be shown how to use the equipment safely and effectively and discuss your fitness goals. Xcite Welcome is included in our Membership package.

Even if you are an experienced Gym user or a previous member you will be required to complete this 30mins session.

It is a great opportunity to have 1-2-1 time with an experienced Fitness Professional. Whatever your fitness level or gym experience you'll be able to discuss your aims and goals and get advise and tips from your Gym Instructor.  

After completing your Welcome session you can opt to choose further options to enhance your technique, knowledge, and experience as well as varing types of equipment you use in the gym. These are all 30mins sessions.

Your programme will be saved onto your Technogym KEY, which will automatical start the equipment with your workout settings, as well show you what kit to use and record your results and progress at each visit.
You can also view your results online and add other activities. Ask your Gym Instructor for more details.

Extra help with the equipment and technique.

Xcite Programme

Set goals and a personallised programme.

Xcite Programme Review
Assess results and update programme. We recommend you book a Review every 6 weeks to update your programme so you continue to get results. 

Xcite Options  
Focus on individual areas within the gym. For more details click here.
