Xcite Livingston: Due to essential maintenance the Main and Teaching Pool @ Xcite Livingston will be closed from Saturday 8 December and will reopen on Friday 28 December 2018. The rest of the building including the health suite, will remain open as normal.

We ask

Before using the track, please sign in at reception, as per normal booking, so that we are aware you are on the track. When finished, please alert reception that you have finished your session.

Using electrical tape with a drawing pin for the high jump run, pole vault run ups.

Lifting all tape after your event/ training has finished.

Returning all equipment to the store it came from signing it in/out.

Placing all litter in bins provided.

Keeping away from all jump pits and mats unless you are competing - they are not play areas.

Moving out a lane if, during training, a faster athlete comes up behind you. They will shout “TRACK” and if it is safe to do so please move into an outer lane to let them undertake you.

Placing all bags and valuables in lockers provided within the sports centre.


Please refrain from

Not registering your attendance prior to your track session.

Using spikes longer than 6mm in length and 4mm in diameter for all training and events.

Using the inner lanes for warm ups or training.

Using the throwing cage except for competition and throwing nights. Throw any implements either in training or competition unless a coach or official is present.

Using the same start position on the track when training.

Walking across centre field area at anytime.

Wearing spikes inside the sports centre.

Using ipods, mobile phones etc within the track and field area.

Using safety pins as markers for all run up areas.
