What are MOVES?
The KEY records your exercise at Xcite as units called 'MOVES'.
MOVES are a measurement of your daily amount of physical activity. The more often and faster you move, the more MOVES you accumulate!
Unlike the number of calories burned, your MOVES scores are independent of body weight, so they are a better way of comparing your activity levels with friends!
The MOVES recorded on your KEY will be used to submit your results in our Let's MOVE gym challenge! Make sure you check in before your workout to be in with a chance to win a prize or just for fun to beat your gym buddy!
How active are you?
- Low Activity - Up to 499 MOVES per week
- Moderately Active - 500 to 749 MOVES per week
- Active - 750 to 999 MOVES per week
- Very Active - More than 1000 MOVES per week
The KEY you use in the gym is set up to control the machines with your own programme and saves your results. Your MOVES results are always recorded and you can see how you are doing on a weekly basis! Ask your Gym instructor to make sure your programme is saved onto your KEY. This will make it easy to set up the exercises and earn MOVE points as you workout!
