We are delighted to announce that our new online swimming lesson communication system Learn2 Parent Portal is available to ALL Xcite venues!

Learn2 Parent Portal was introduced so the Swim Teacher is able to electronically update your child’s swim progress data on poolside, using iPods, at each lesson. Learn2 Portal was released to Xcite Livingston customers on a pilot system and is now available to all Learn2 customers.

You will be able to access new weekly Reports on your child’s progress, online and securely, via Learn2 Parent Portal with your own log in details.

  • Progress reports will include the assessment criteria for your child’s current Level that is required to be completed before they move up to the next Level.
  • We aim to make Reports available within 24 hours of your child latest lesson.
  • To register for Parent Portal please follow our step-by-step sign up guide.

Learn2 step-by-step guide

Download our Help Guide - to register to use the Learn2 system.

Please note your contact details will need to match our system to be able to sign up for Parent Portal: child's DOB, email address and postcode. You can update this in person at reception or by calling your Xcite Swim Venue.

If you are experiencing problems with the system recognising your Card ID, please try adding a zero to the start of the number. If you continue to experience problems please contact reception where a member of the team will be happy to assist.

Please remember that if you do wish to discuss your child’s progress in person with their Swim Teacher this can be arrange in advance at a time mutually agreeable.

Email Communication - Lesson Transfers

In addition to Parent Portal we’ll also be sending our swimming lesson customers emails with our latest swim news, cancelled lesson classes and class transfers.

As of Monday 30 January 2017 email will become our main form of communication to notify you when your child is ready to transfer up a level.

When your child is ready to transfer you will receive an email notifying you of the following:

1. Congratulating your child on their achievement.

2. Detailing the date of the final lesson in their current class.

3. Information on their new class including the date of the first session in this class.

With all transfers we aim to keep class times as similar as possible to current class time. There will be a 2 week period from when your transfer email is sent to when your child starts their new class. If the new allocated time is not suitable please contact your swim venue directly. Your current class time will automatically cease after the 2 week period.

Up-to-Date Contact Details

Please make sure we have your up-to-date details next time you visit Xcite - our reception team will be happy to check this. If your details (email, DOB and postcode) do not match our system you will not be able to register online for Parent Portal or receive email transfer notifications.

We hope these new online features will help aid better and regular communication on your child’s swim progress and work towards a greener more environmentally friendly way of communicating with our customers.
