Facilities
Set in beautiful parkland the centre was originally part of Howden House. The former stable block of the house was converted into an arts centre in 1972 with further renovation in 2009 and was awarded Building of the Year by Edinburgh Architectural Association. Howden Park also provides an excellent choice for a Wedding venue.
The centre has a 300 seat theatre at its heart offering impressive conference facilities. Multi-purpose spaces can be used for less formal seminars, breakout sessions etc and the centre also boasts a stunning meeting room with floor to ceiling glass walls overlooking the park. The venue also has spaces available for hire for community and social events.
