What is a Virtual Class?

A virtual class is the same fitness classes from Les Mills range that you know and love, or want to try but are played on a large screen within an Xcite venue’s fitness studio. Xcite venues now have a dedicated Virtual fitness class studio, kitted out to bring you this high quality class experience delivered by world class instructors. There are also Virtual Cycle studios!

Where can I do a Virtual Class?

Les Mills Virtual Classes have been installed at studios in Xcite Bathgate, Broxburn, Craigswood, Linlithgow, and Whitburn.

Why would I go to a Virtual Class?

Virtual classes are typically quieter and give you the opportunity to try something new! The addition of Virtual Classes enhances our live instructor lead fitness class timetable and lets us provide more classes and spaces for our customers to attend. It's a great alternative if you cannot book into a live class.

How long are Virtual Classes?

Normally the classes run between 30-35 mins. All classes will be formatted to accommodate a great work out experience and allow cleaning slots between sessions.

What equipment do I need to use?

If equipment is required for classes, for example spin bikes, barbells, weight plates, we will have these available within the Virtual Studio. The Xcite Team will be cleaning onsite equipment regular basis, for best practice we ask that you wipe down your kit before and after use with products available at our hygiene stations. You do need to bring your own ma to all our fitness classes.

How do I book a Virtual Class?

Virtual classes are part of our Fitness Class Timetable and the same booking methods and T&Cs apply. You can book via our WLL Xcite App or online. If you cannot attend your class please cancel your booking to free up the space for another customer to attend. You can also view timetables and descriptions on site outside the Virtual Studio’s on the Ipads provided.
