Having been closed for a prolonged period of time during the last two years and as a result of the unprecedented challenges presented by the Covid pandemic, West Lothian Leisure has taken the opportunity to review all areas of our business.
We have recently launched a range of exciting new memberships and also reviewed our prices to ensure we are able to stay financially viable and ensure these better reflect the actual cost of providing services yet continue to provide excellent value for money. Despite costs increasing significantly during the last 8 years and inflation currently at a 10-year high, there has only been one price increase in this time. As always, when we look at making any changes to our memberships and prices, we benchmark these against other sport and leisure trusts in Scotland to make sure they are comparable and carry out customer research.
All members will be notified of the updates made to their current membership packages and any changes or upgrades that are now included via email or post by the end of February. As a charity, all our income supports the running of your local sport and leisure facilities as well as our life-changing, community health and wellbeing programmes. Consequently, we are making these changes to help protect the quality of our venues, services, and community projects across West Lothian for years to come.
