Upcoming changes @ West Lothian Leisure

Did you know...

West Lothian Leisure is your local Community Leisure Trust and is a not-for-profit registered charity where every penny of profit is reinvested back into the organisation. No money is distributed to shareholders or any other parties. Find out more here.

Over £14 million has been reinvested back into the trust over the last 20 years to provide good quality services in West Lothian. West Lothian Leisure continually works with local partners, including West Lothian Council, NHS Lothian and West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership, to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the local community.

As we hear on the news daily, many public services are facing unprecedented reductions in funding and we are no exception. As one of the lowest public funded trusts in Scotland this will have a direct impact on the services that we can provide.  In this difficult landscape we are implementing changes to our operations and services to accommodate the financial pressures of funding cuts and unavoidable increase in operational running costs.

Pay-per-visit price increase from 1 April 2019

The majority of pay-per-visit prices have been frozen for the last 6 years since 2013. Unfortunately, we can no longer maintain our current pricing structure. From 1 April 2019 we will be increasing our pay-per-visit prices. Please be assured that a price increase has not been an easy option, but necessary to be able to continue to provide services.

New pay-per-visit price lists are available at reception or on links below:

There will be an increase on Learn 2 Swim subscription from 1 May 2019. Our Learn 2 Swim subscription customers will be contacted prior to the 1 April 2019. Please make sure your email details are up-to-date at reception.

Xcite Fauldhouse

Due to the combination of low level customer usage and financial challenges we can no longer subsidise the operation of Xcite Fauldhouse and this facility will close on Friday 29 March 2019.

We value all our customers and hope that you will continue to use the services provided by West Lothian Leisure.
