Did you know if your child is unwell with a cold, flu, diarrhoea or another infectious illness then this is a sufficient reason not to swim? Swimming on a full stomach is also a bad idea as it can be the cause of stomach cramps causing sickness.

If there has been an ‘accident’ in the pool then it will need to be treated for several hours (the length of time is different for each pool). We will need to clean the pool filtration system, by removing the water and replacing with fresh water. We will also need to make sure the water is chemically balanced and warmed up for bathers. This can take up to 27 hours which means you cannot use the pool during this time!

We understand that ‘accidents’ do happen so please inform a member of the Xcite team if anything does happen!

We ask all our customers to take the time to read through our helpful pool guidelines to help avoid these types of closure and so you or your kids don’t miss out on swim time and lessons. Read the Pool Guidelines @ Xcite here.
