From Monday 26 February you’ll be able to use PP to track your child’s swimming lesson progress PLUS select your child’s movement to their new class online when they’re ready move up to the next level!
Movements will be carried out through PP for children progressing on to the following levels:
• Swim Skills 1a, 1b, 2, 3, & 4
• Club Ready
• Rookie Bronze 2 & 3
• Rookie Silver 1, 2 & 3
• Rookie Gold 1, 2 & 3
Adult & Toddler/Child and Pre-school classes will not be available online to move and continue to be moved by the Xcite Team at your Xcite Swim venue.
How will I know my child is ready to progress?
You’ll receive an email advising you to login to your PP account to select a new class for your child to move onto the next level from the available spaces shown at your current Xcite Swim venue.
Please note this is a live system and spaces are only available as shown at the time of viewing. Book to avoid disappointment.
You’ll have 7 days from email being sent out to carry out the movement through PP. If you do not complete this the Xcite Team will allocate a class for your child and an email will be sent to you with the class details.
What if I have not registered for the PP?
All movements for children moving into Swim Skills 1a and upwards will be carried out through PP. If you are not registered you’ll receive an email asking you to create a Parent Portal account to choose a suitable class. If this is not completed within 7 days the Xcite Team will allocate a class for your child and an email will be sent to you with the class details.
What if I can’t book a class for a day time that I want?
We recommend checking PP regularly (within the 7 days of movement) as more class times may become available as other customers move out of each level and onto the next. You can also check the lesson availability spreadsheet here for suitable classes at other Xcite venues that may work for you.
You’ll no longer be able to stay in your current class session if you have been advised to move up a level.
If you book a class and then decide you want to change to another class (as availability arises) you can only do this by contacting your Xcite swim venue. Once you book your class on PP you cannot change it online. However we do encourage you to stick with your initial booked class.
Waiting lists are only in place for new customers wishing to enter the programme and not in use for existing customers.
