Golf is back!
We are delighted to announce that the Golf Course is now OPEN at Xcite Bathgate. Golf returned on Friday 29 May in line with Scottish Government Guidelines. We have completed works to ensure that the course is safe for both our customers and staff. We appreciate your patience and support while we have implement changes on the course and to our booking system. Please note Xcite Bathgate's main building remains closed at this time.
New Guidelines
We ask all golfers to take the time to read through the information provide and follow the guidelines to help us all stay safe and healthy while enjoying our exercise.
We are installing safety procedures including social distancing signage, hand sanitisers, updated rules, along with staff in place to help customers and monitor the course at all times.
A temporary reception will be available at the first tee for golfers to check in when arriving. Xcite Bathgate's main building will remain closed to the public and there will be no access.
New Online Bookings
All tee-times will be pay-per-play only and all Xcite Memberships remain frozen at this time. Tee group sizes - maximum 4 players, no more than 2 households allowed.
All customer are asked to pre-book golf sessions online to avoid queuing. You can do this easily via the WLL Xcite App or on our website here.
Note you will be required to register online to make a booking and will be given a PIN and ID. If you are already registered with us as a member or pay-per-visit customer you can use your current PIN and ID, but you will be charge pay-per-play price. If you do not have your PIN you can request this on 'forgot my PIN' here.

Monday – Friday 9.00am – 7.00pm
Saturday & Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm
A temporary reception 'Golf Hut' will be in place at the first tee, the main building will remain closed. A phone line will be available during opening hours T: 01506 743905 at Polkemmet Golf and Driving Range, however we may not be able to take calls during busy periods. No toilet facilities will be available.

No equipment hire is available.
All Xcite memberships remain frozen at this time, and all golf sessions will be available on a pay-per-play basis. There has been a slight increase to play due to increase costs of operating the facility to ensure health and safety guidelines are met in line with Scottish Golf guidance. The price per round still falls below the national average of £11.50 for a 9 hole course for 1 player.
The health and safety of our customers and staff remains at the forefront of our organisation. We will be recording customers name and contact number in line with Government guidelines for future test and track.
