Your role is to work as part of the HR Team providing generalist support and advice to managers and staff whilst coordinating work across the organisation in areas of designated responsibility. You will also have regular contact with external customers and applicants.
Core Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Provide coherent and strategically focussed information and advice to managers on all employee relations issues
Ensure employment law compliance in all case management to mitigate risk to the company
Support Managers in investigation and disciplinary meetings
Play key role in the review and implementation of the Company Handbook and Policies to ensure in line with current legislation
Review current HR processes and procedures and identity opportunities for improvement
Conduct a review of Job Descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the roles
Drive our recruitment and retention strategy ensuring compliance with EDI
Support in strategic projects, eg job evaluation, employee engagement
Work closely with the L & D specialist in identifying training needs
Undertake planned HR initiatives to achieve continuous improvement
Analyse and report on Payroll and HRM information and statistics
Assist in the audit and reporting of HR procedures
Maintain confidential and sensitive employee records
Liaise with service providers and users to deliver excellent service
Provide the highest standard of customer service.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Demonstrate excellent core organisational competencies
CIPD Level 3 Diploma in HRM or equivalent
4 – 5 years in an HR generalist role dealing with complex ER issues
Stakeholder management experience
Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation
Experience of driving and implementing change
Ability to adopt a “hands on” approach in addition to the strategic role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write comprehensive and detailed reports and letters
Highly competent level of skill with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRM systems
Demonstrable experience of dealing with conflict, sensitive and highly confidential matters
Hold and maintain a current valid driving licence [and use of a vehicle]
Willingness to continuously develop and attend training and development sessions in line with your personal training plan, on occasion out-with your normal hours of work, to ensure the required level of competence.
