Board Director Vacancy

West Lothian Leisure is excited to announce that it has a vacancy for a Director on the Board of Trustees.

As a Director of a charity you would provide strategic direction and guidance to help achieve the vision of improving people’s lives through sport, health, physical activity, culture and outdoor education.
We would be pleased to hear from you if you have an enthusiasm for sport, leisure and cultural activities, if you live in or have links to West Lothian and of course have the energy to take the charity forward.

We welcome applications from people who are passionate about what we do and have experience to contribute to our Board’s skill set. This could range, for example, from experience of our services, a key role in other organisations, strategic management and managing change.

The successful candidate will be appointed for an initial fixed term of 5 years. Director positions are voluntary unpaid positions, however all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
West Lothian Leisure embraces diversity and will give full and fair consideration to all applicants regardless of their age, gender, race, belief, sexual orientation, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity.

If you would like to arrange an informal conversation regarding the position please contact our Chief Executive, Robin Strang.

To apply please email your CV along with a covering letter to our HR team by Monday 27 May 2019.
