Be active with West Lothian Ageing Well Project. This is an exciting project that enables local people to make a positive contribution to their health and the lives of others.
So what does being a Volunteer mean? It's about going out into the community and meeting people, particularly those who have, for whatever reason, become isolated or lost the confidence or the energy to join in. It’s about motivating them to overcome the barriers that stop them from exercising. It’s about promoting a healthy lifestyle that is accessible to all.
Above all else, it is about enabling individuals to enjoy life to the full. Opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills surrounding activities in the community. Increases confidence. Lots of opportunities to socialise and establish new friendships. Travel Expenses provided.
Training will be provided for all recruited volunteers. For more information please contact your local Ageing Well co-ordinator Avril Clerkson T: 07768090008/01506 237953 E: firstname.lastname@example.org
