Karen Anderson, Area Manager 

Karen is an Area Manager for Xcite, looking after Xcite Whitburn, Polkemmet Golf and Driving Range and Schools and Bookings. Originally from Grangemouth, she spent a couple of years at university in Dundee before moving south to work with a children’s outdoor adventure holiday provider. She stayed with them for 6 years working in various locations and job roles in the United Kingdom and Southern France before moving home and starting her West Lothian Leisure journey.

Karen originally worked at Xcite Linlithgow’s soft play and as a Casual Lifeguard before progressing to work full time as cover Duty Supervisor, Lifeguard, Swim Teacher and Gym Instructor. Karen was a Duty Manager and later, Assistant Manager at Xcite Linlithgow for 8 years, before progressing into the role of Area Manager at the start of 2019.

Her interests include playing the piano, reading, theatre and keeping (relatively) fit.
